Level Up the Way You Think, Feel, and Live.

A modern approach

If you are here, you are probably someone who has already tried to work on yourself. Yet you still feel stuck. You might look like you have things together on the outside, while internally feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or caught in patterns that don’t seem to change-whether that’s in your thoughts, your relationship with food or your body, or in your relationships with others. I work with motivated individuals and couples who are ready for more than just insight….they want real and lasting change.

I’m Brittney Segoviano, a licensed therapist and founder of Level Up Counseling. My approach to therapy goes beyond just talking about what’s wrong. Together, we focus on understanding the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and actively work to change them in a way that feels realistic and sustainable. I integrate evidence based approaches while tailoring our work to you personally, so therapy feels both supportive and effective.

Clients often tell me they feel both supported and gently challenged in our work together. I won’t just sit back and listen. I will help you make connections, notice patterns, and guide you toward meaningful change, while creating a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and not judged. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as you are, while also being supported in becoming who you want to be.

I have over 12 years of experience working with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, life challenges, and relationship challenges. I primarily integrate evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma informed care, all grounded in an empathetic and strengths based focused framework.

Outside of the office, I am usually with my husband and kids, somewhere in the middle of a good book, or in a Pilates Class. I believe that growth is an on-going process, so I try to live that in my own life and not just talk about it with clients. I’m also a law enforcement wife, which has given me a better understanding of what it means to carry stress quietly, show up for someone who can’t always talk about what they’ve seen, and hold everything together while wondering who’s holding you.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you do not have to have everything figured out beforehand. If you are ready or curious whether we’d be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. No commitment, just a change to ask questions and see how it feels.
